The videos displayed here capture my videography and animation capabilities. These videos often interweave video editing with animation to create instructional, educational, and entertaining content. These projects were produced by me from pre-production to publishing using a variety of Adobe programs such as Premiere Pro CC, After Effects CC, Audition CC and Illustrator CC.
This series of tutorials are meant to demonstrate the step-by-step workflows for Norgen’s kits. I am involved in every step of the process from pre-production to publishing. I capture the video with a Canon D90. I assemble and color-correct it in Adobe Premiere CC. I record the voiceover and master it in Adobe Audition CC. Finally, once the video is in its final stage, I bring it into Adobe After Effects CC to add animations like the blue box tips and timers for centrifugation and incubation.
This employee highlight series is meant to showcase long-term employees working for Norgen Biotek in a casual and personal atmosphere. I was involved in each step of the process from pre-production to publishing. I captured the video with two Canon D90s in a multi-cam setup and I captured the audio with a Rode Lav Mic. I assembled and color corrected these videos in Adobe Premiere Pro CC. I brought the audio track into Adobe Audition to mix and master it. Once the video was completed I brought it into Adobe After Effects CC to add the title card and the questions that are being asked.
Cup O’ Science was a series I developed for the company as part of an initiative to create educational content that is entertaining and engaging to bring awareness to the brand and provide our current audience with high-quality educational material that is shareable and fun to watch. This series was structured as long-form video content that was shared on Youtube and social media before it was reformatted for Instagram Reels. This video was produced using a Canon D90 and green screen to achieve a style similar to SciShow. I assembled, color corrected, and keyed the video in Adobe Premiere Pro CC. I captured the audio using Rode’s Lav Mic and mastered it in Adobe Audition CC. All of the animations were done in Adobe After Effects CC. I was the actor for this video and I wrote the script alongside a scientific writer for accuracy.
This is a fully animated advertisement created for Norgen Biotek to promote their COVID-19 testing services. I created all of the elements in Adobe Illustrator CC and I exported all the artboards separately to be animated in Adobe After Effects CC. I helped write the script alongside a scientific writer for accuracy. I was the voice actor for this video and captured the audio, mixed and mastered it in Adobe Audition CC.
